Fanny Henriet is an economist. Director of research at the CNRS at Aix-Marseille School of Economics, she is also a member of the Conseil d'Analyse Economique and a lecturer at Ecole Polytechnique (IP Paris). She was awarded the CNRS bronze medal in 2023 and was nominated for the Best Young Economist prize, awarded by Le Monde and Le Cercle des économistes, in 2024.
Fanny Henriet's research lies at the crossroads of environmental economics and public economics. She is particularly interested in ecological transition policies and environmental taxation.
Fanny Henriet has published numerous articles in international scientific journals. She is also the author of a book for the general public published in 2025 by Presses Universitaires de France, L'économie peut-elle sauver le climat? which explores the role of economic instruments in the fight against climate change.
