Ioan Roxin

Ioan Roxin is Professor Emeritus at Marie et Louis Pasteur University (Franche-Comté), specialising in information technology, multimedia and artificial intelligence.

He holds a doctorate in cybernetics (Bucharest 1991) and a post-graduate diploma (DEA) in computer engineering (INSA Lyon). For nearly a decade, he directed the ELLIADD laboratory (Publishing, Languages, Literatures, Computing, Arts, Didactics, Discourse) and was behind a number of innovative training courses in the fields of multimedia and ICT. His research focuses on the semantisation of content, the mediation of knowledge and generative AI in education. He has been invited to numerous universities around the world and has been awarded the distinctions of Chevalier and Officier des Palmes Académiques.
