Julien Pouget

Julien Pouget has been President Middle East & North Africa for TotalEnergies Exploration & Production since 2023. He previously served as Senior Vice President Asia Pacific for Exploration & Production and Renewables.

From 2017 to 2021, he was Senior Vice President of the global Renewables division and CEO of TotalEnergies Renewables. During this period, he oversaw the growth of the renewables portfolio from 300 MW to nearly 23 GW in operation, with more than 6 GW under construction and over 40 GW under development worldwide. He also served on the Board of Directors of SunPower.

Between 2014 and 2016, he was Senior Advisor to the President of the French Republic, notably overseeing the restructuring of the French nuclear industry. Earlier in his career, he held senior management positions at Alstom and served at the French Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Finance. Julien Pouget is a Chief Engineer of the Corps des Mines and a graduate of École Polytechnique.
