Jürgen Knödlseder is Director of Research at the CNRS in astronomy and astrophysics. He works at the Institute for Research in Astrophysics and Planetology in Toulouse on the physics of cosmic radiation and antimatter. He is a member of the Labos1point5 Research Group, where he studies the environmental footprint of astronomy research, with a particular focus on the environmental footprint of astronomical observatories.
