Karina Vil

Karina Vil is a Master of Science and Technology (MScT) student at École Polytechnique and recipient of the École Polytechnique Excellence Scholarship. She holds a bachelor's degree in international economics and finance from MGIMO University, where she specialized in green finance.

Karina is a professional in climate and sustainability issues, with experience in environmental data analysis, ESG reporting, and sustainable finance. Her work focuses on quantitative impact assessment, carbon accounting methodologies, and the integration of environmental indicators into the decision-making processes of companies and public actors.

She has contributed to carbon assessments, the implementation of ESG frameworks, and responsible finance analyses in both private and public contexts. Her experience includes applying international reporting standards, supporting decarbonization strategies, and conducting quantitative environmental impact assessments. At the same time, she has participated in research and applied projects on sustainable urban development and the circular economy, analyzing the financial and environmental dimensions of sustainable transitions.

Her academic and professional interests focus on data-driven environmental policies and the use of quantitative tools to support evidence-based climate action.
