Nadia Lamlili

PhD student in development and environmental economics at UMI SOURCE (UVSQ – Paris-Saclay University)

Nadia Lamlili is in charge of social innovation at UM6P Global Hubs France and a doctoral student in development and environmental economics at UMI SOURCE (UVSQ – Université Paris-Saclay). Her research focuses on territorial dynamics, African agricultural value chains, gender, and climate adaptation, using systemic approaches and epistemological frameworks rooted in African knowledge.

She coordinates the organizing committee of the International Autumn School "Socio-economic Strategies for Sustainable Development in Rural Africa " (UM6P – Paris-Saclay University), dedicated to training North-South doctoral students in multidisciplinary analysis of resilience trajectories in African rural areas. Nadia Lamlili holds a Master's degree in Geopolitics and Geoeconomics of Emerging Africa (HEC Paris – UM6P). Nadia Lamlili previously had a twenty-two-year career in journalism in Morocco and France, notably as head of the Maghreb/Middle East section of Jeune Afrique in Paris, editor-in-chief of Économie & Entreprises, journalist at Tel Quel, and section editor at L'Économiste Maroc. She directed the publication of the think tank “L'Afrique des Idées” in Paris and is the author of the novel “Une plume dans la plaie” (2019).
