Teacher-Researcher qualified to direct Research at Télécom Paris (IP Paris) and Institut Interdisciplinaire de l'Innovation

Olivier Fournout is a teacher-researcher, qualified to direct research (HDR, 2019) at Télécom Paris (IP Paris) and at Institut Interdisciplinaire de l'Innovation (CNRS UMR). He is a member of the steering committee of the SPIRAL Centre, the ‘arts&sciences’ cluster of Institut Polytechnique de Paris. Following a thesis in information and communication sciences on the culture of dialogue and relational ethics (2009), he is now working on two new long-term research projects:

- Engagement sur des terrains ‘arts&sciences’, where he explores what artistic creation brings to social science research. In 2024-25, he will be co-leading a story-writing workshop on ‘Once upon a time, there was another relationship with biodiversity’, culminating in an exhibition-performance at the Jardin-Ecole in Montreuil, as part of the Printemps de la Poésie festival, on 15-16 March 2025.
- Study of representations of success, looking at the injunctions to perform in our hypermodern, media-driven societies.
