Thomas Le Goff is a senior lecturer in digital law at Télécom Paris – Institut Polytechnique de Paris (i3 laboratory, CNRS, UMR 9217), where he teaches and conducts research on regulations relating to digital technologies, data, cybersecurity and AI. His research focuses more specifically on the links between AI and sustainability and how regulation can contribute to the development of environmentally friendly technologies.
Before entering academia, he worked as a corporate lawyer at Électricité de France (EDF), in the intellectual property, data and digital division of the Legal Department, where he was responsible for expertise in data protection and digital regulation. He currently heads the ‘Digital Regulations and Connected Vehicles’ research area within the Intelligent Cybersecurity for Mobility Systems (ICMS) chair at Télécom Paris.
