Vincent Jassey

CNRS researcher at Centre for Research on Biodiversity and the Environment

Vincent Jassey is a CNRS researcher at Centre de recherche sur la biodiversité et l'environnement (CRBE UMR5300). His research focuses mainly on the functioning of the carbon cycle in peatlands and its response to climate change. In particular, this research aims to gain a better understanding of the functioning of plant and microbial communities and to predict the consequences of their response to climate change on the functioning of peat bogs by combining field observations and experiments, laboratory experiments and mathematical models.
