Antoine Tesnière is a French professor of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. After studying at Paris Descartes University's Faculty of Medicine and the University of Paris-Sud's doctoral school of oncology, he became a doctor of medicine and immunology.
He chaired the teaching council of the Paris Descartes Faculty of Medicine and was also vice president of the University of Paris, responsible for educational transformation. Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship, Professor Tesnière co-founded and directed France's first university department dedicated to healthcare simulation, iLumens. This innovative platform, which aims to integrate simulation into healthcare training, gave him the opportunity to confirm his belief in the spirit of innovation.
In early April 2021, the government appointed Antoine Tesnière as CEO of PariSanté Campus. Initiated by the President of the Republic, this project aims to make France a leader in digital health by bringing together French public and private assets in research, care, businesses, and institutions. He also founded French Care with BPIFrance, with the aim of bringing together all healthcare stakeholders, facilitating synergies, and accelerating innovation to improve the healthcare system.
