Arnaud Mercier is a graduate of IEP in Paris and holds a doctorate in political science. He is a Professor of Information and Communication at Institut Français de Presse (University of Paris 2 - Assas) where he directs the digital degree in information and communication. He is the author of numerous academic publications on political communication, the digital evolution of journalism, and the use of digital networks. He directed the books “Gilets jaunes : un défi journalistique”, (Éditions
Panthéon-Assas, 2022) ; “La communication politique”, (CNRS éditions,) in 2017 and “#info : commenter et partager l'actualité sur Twitter et Facebook” (éditions de la Maison des Sciences de l'Homme) in 2018.
