A graduate of ENISE (École Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Saint-Étienne), Élodie Doyen obtained her doctorate in 2023. Her thesis topic was part of the Sciences 2024 project to help French athletes improve their performance for the Paris Games in 2024. She was working with tibia amputee athletes who will be competing in the long jump events in 2024. Since graduating, as a research engineer, she has continued her interest in tibial prostheses, with the aim of helping medical staff to more easily manufacture sockets for patient comfort.
