Emiliano Grossman

Professor of Political Science at Sciences Po Paris and Director of the Center for Socio-Political Data (CDSP)

Emiliano Grossman is a professor of political science at Sciences Po Paris, affiliated with the Center for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE), and director of the Center for Socio-Political Data (CDSP), a joint Sciences Po/CNRS unit.

His research focuses on comparative politics, party systems, the media, and public policy in Europe. His research focuses in particular on the dynamics of electoral competition, notably the links between campaign priorities and government policies. He has also studied the role of the media in the formation of public policy. He is the co-author (with Isabelle Guinaudeau) of Do Elections Still Matter? (Oxford, 2021).

At Sciences Po, he co-leads the Issue Evolution project (with Jan Rovnly), funded by OpenAI, and is organizing the Comparative Agendas Project’s international conference at Sciences Po Paris in June 2026. He teaches comparative politics, comparative public policy, and political communication.
