Fiona Wood is a science, technology and innovation policy strategy analyst/senior advisor with an extensive track record working with peak organisations around the world. These include the Japanese Business University Forum, the European Commission, the European Institute of Innovation & Technology, the Rathenau Instituut, the Circa Group Europe, the Government of Pakistan (Planning Ministry), the OECD, Cabinet level departments in the US and Canada, and a number of major international and national research funding agencies/councils and Scientific Academies.
Thematically, her work contributes to 'smart, sustainable and inclusive economic growth strategies'; the potential of convergent/critical and emerging technologies to help solve challenges on and off the planet; and social enterprises as an important tool to help meet UN SDGs. She has a particular interest in the policies, investments, talent workforce skills development and partnerships critical to realising the breakthrough potential of CETs.
