François Mariotti is particularly involved in the training of engineering students in the field of human health. He leads a research team (in a joint INRA-AgroParisTech Unit) that seeks to understand the relationships between plant/animal protein consumption, diet quality and cardiometabolic health. He is the author of about 100 scientific publications. As Chairman of the Specialised Expert Committee on Nutrition at Anses, François Mariotti has been involved for a long time in important Public Health Nutrition issues, such as the revision of the consumption guidelines for the French population.
