A graduate of the Ecole des Mines de Paris, Isabelle Bloch obtained a master's degree from the University of Paris 12 (Paris-Est Créteil), the doctorate from ENST (Télécom Paris) and the HDR from Paris 5 (University of Paris). She was a professor at Télécom Paris until 2020. Her research interests include mathematical morphology, fuzzy set theory, knowledge representation and spatial reasoning, symbolic and hybrid artificial intelligence, image interpretation from knowledge and structural models, medical imaging.
