Jean-Yves Marion is a member of the Institut Universitaire de France, President of the Scientific Council of the GDR CNRS Sécurité and member of the ANSSI Scientific Council. He founded the High Security Laboratory (LHS) and the start-up cyber-detect. He is one of the "100 French people who count in cybersecurity" according to Usine Nouvelle. Since 2013, he is director of Loria a joint laboratory of the CNRS, Inria and the University of Lorraine.
