Jérôme Clech is managing director and founder of Inceptive Purple and a research engineer, in charge of operations and development at the ESDR3C (CNAM). He also teaches foresight and strategy at Sciences Po Paris. He is a pilot-commander of the French Air Force and a lieutenant-colonel (on leave). In 2012, he participated in the work of the White Paper on Defence. After a period at the DGSE, he joined the cabinet of the Minister of Defence (of the Armed Forces) from 2016 to 2020. Jérôme Clech is a graduate and doctor of the École Polytechnique, an engineer of the École de l'air et de l'espace, holds a master's degree from Sciences Po (Paris) in international security, and is a graduate of the École de Guerre and the Académie du renseignement.
