Johan Bregeon is a research fellow in observational cosmology at Grenoble's Laboratoire de Physique Subatomique et Cosmologie. He is currently Scientific Director of Rubin-LSST France. In addition to his contributions to the construction of several telescopes on the ground and in space, he is passionate about explosive transient phenomena among the most violent in the universe: gamma-ray bursts.
