Juliette Mignot is an oceanographer at Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD) and a member of the LOCEAN laboratory (SU). Her research focuses on variations in the climate system on interannual to decadal time scales, with particular emphasis on the role of the ocean. In particular, she uses climate models and available climate observations to better understand and predict ocean modulations, their response to natural and anthropogenic forcings, and their impact on the European and Sahelian regions in particular.
