Léo Péria-Peigné is a researcher at Ifri's Centre for Security Studies, where he works within the Observatory of Future Conflicts on capability foresight in the field of armaments and on the use of future weapons systems. He also works on the use of conventional weapons in asymmetric conflicts, notably in Afghanistan. Specialised in defence industry issues and Turkey after a master's degree in international relations and economic intelligence at Sciences Po Lille, he joined Ifri at the beginning of 2022 after two years in consulting and economic intelligence in the field of armaments and a stint at the Special Operations Command.
