Maëlle Vilbert

PhD student in physics at LOB* (IP Paris) and Centre Hospitalier National d'Opthalmologie des Quinze-Vingts

Maëlle Vilbert is currently completing her doctoral thesis in physics, shared between *LOB: Laboratoire d'Optique et Biosciences (École polytechnique, CNRS, Inserm) and Centre Hospitalier National d'Opthalmologie des Quinze-Vingts. This project, about the diagnosis of the transparency of the human cornea in vivo, is part of the continuity of her training as a photonic engineer in alternance with the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle. The interdisciplinary nature of her career has led her to look at academic disciplines from different angles and to create bridges between science and music for the general public.
