Marianne Harbo Frederiksen, PhD, is Associate Professor of Innovation and Technology Management at the Centre for Integrative Innovation Management, University of Southern Denmark. Her research revolves mainly around opportunities and barriers to the development, implementation, commercialization, and adoption of emerging technologies, such as drones. She has published in journals such as Research Policy, Innovation: Organization & Management, and Creativity and Innovation Management. She works with researchers from various disciplines and includes perspectives from practice by drawing upon her large industry network and previous experience as Product Designer, Head of New Product Development, and CEO of a start-up.
