Mette Præst Knudsen is a Professor of Innovation Management, Head of Research for the Center for Integrative Innovation Management at University of Southern Denmark. She is also Professor of Innovation Management at Chair “Technology for Change” and Member of Management Research Group at Ecole Polytechnique. Her research is concerned with development, adoption and commercialization of emerging technologies like drones, AM, and autonomous systems. She has published in leading innovation journals like Research Policy, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and Technovation. She has developed, initiated, and managed several research and innovation projects focusing on increasing the innovative capabilities of industrial firms across industrial sectors. She is Area Editor for Technovation, Senior Advisor to Creativity and Innovation Management journal, and Associate editor of Technology Innovation Management Review.
