Philippe Glaser heads the Ecology and Evolution of Antibiotic Resistance Unit. He is a recognised expert in bacterial genomics and the evolution of antibiotic resistance. In collaboration with T. Naas at the Bicêtre Hospital, he deciphers the evolution and antibiotic resistance of carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (mainly Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae).
