Rémi Carmigniani is a graduate of École Polytechnique and CalTech. He did his thesis at École des Ponts ParisTech in fluid mechanics (2017). He has been working at the Laboratoire d'Hydraulique Saint Venant since 2018 and is currently working on the physics of water sports. He is particularly interested in crawl coordinations, wave effects on resistance, drafting and swimmers' trajectories. His work combines physical modelling and computer vision. He coordinates the NePTUNE project with Ludovic Seifert.
