Valérie Beaudouin studies the transformation of cultural practices in the digital age. She has conducted research on collectives and online writing practices (self-publishing, amateur film criticism). In the framework of a research partnership between the BnF and Télécom Paris, the Bibli-Lab, she has worked on the construction of the memory of the First World War online. She is a specialist in digital technologies as tools for social and human sciences: text mining and network analysis.
