Research Director at Centre de Biologie intégrative de l'Université de Toulouse

After obtaining her thesis at the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, Béatrice Clouet-d'Orval carried out a six-year post-doctoral fellowship in the United States and joined the CNRS as a researcher in 1994. In 2000, she joined the University of Toulouse where she is currently research director at the Centre for Integrative Biology in the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology unit (MCD, UMR 5077). She leads the "RNARCHAEA" research team. During her career at the CNRS, she initiated and developed a pioneering and innovative line of research to decipher the molecular mechanisms governing RNA biology in Archaea, the third domain of life.
