Etienne Mathias is an agricultural engineer specialised in the environment. He has been involved in the elaboration of atmospheric emission inventories at CITEPA since 2006. He is in charge of the AFOLU department (agriculture, forestry, land use) since 2020. Etienne Mathias is accredited by the United Nations for the review of emission inventories in the framework of the Convention on Climate Change and is part of the group of "lead reviewers". He is particularly involved in building the capacity of developing countries to implement the modalities of the Paris Agreement.
