Karine Clément heads a Sorbonne University/Inserm unit entitled “NutriOmique: Nutrition and Obesity: Systemic Approaches” at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris. She is also vice-president of the AFERO (association for the study and research on obesity) and on the committee of the “World obesity” (international association). Her team has been working for years on the complex biological causes of obesity. She has received several national and international awards.
