Founder and Director of the City Diplomacy Lab at Columbia Global Centers (Paris)
Lorenzo Kihlgren Grandi is the founder and director of the City Diplomacy Lab at Columbia Global Centers in Paris. He teaches city diplomacy at Columbia Paris, Sciences Po - PSIA and École Polytechnique (IP Paris). In addition to his academic work, Lorenzo is actively involved in expanding the practice of city diplomacy, having advised numerous municipalities, city networks and international organisations. Author of City Diplomacy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020), he holds a PhD in political studies from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS, Paris) and the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS, Rome).
